- today was the second day of school. rather eventful.
i count 37 groups in the orientation. there has to be thrice that amt of counsellors and derek is just one of them. the chance of me landing with that crazy idiot is like one in dunno wat... n guess what. i landed up with him. lolx. k la derek ur not so bad... it cld have been mervyn... in hindsight ur actually pretty good :| i tink i'm losin my marbles. i actually praised derek...
anyway, let me gush abt my day. today orientation officially started. and for dunno wat reason my insomnia reared its head again. i slept at three plus, four and woke at five thirty. i was still pretty hyped though. anw orientation's main theme is olympia, like mount olympus. everything;s very greek - i'm in sparta clan. there's also eleusis, athens, delphi, lemnos and corinth... sparta rocks man... we're the best wahahaha...

what did we do today?
mass dance was pretty good... we progressed to the "perhaps perhaps perhaps" song, which is a song which involves a lot of pairwork... lucky i got a fairly good partner yeah thomas? since he's ard my height it makes it better to twist and turn... and let's not forget the tango? really we had to do that. lolx. it was fun la. then favian and xintian were suffering behing cos no matter how they turned, their co-joined hands refused to go over their head. i dun evn wanna think abt hui ghee and kok boon. hui is so small... she reaches my shoulder and boon is a head taller than me. lolx. i hate the s club party dance. can you imagine? it's realli quite bai kar la. like that demo-er says.
then we started the og discussions. i'm in playhouse - that's the portion of sparta which has to put up a play. i kinda enjoy being part of the scriptwriting team... it's quite interesting esp when meera wanted - and proceeded to - write the whole thing in poetry. lolx.she's good.
sparta has pretty good cheers. delphi keeps insulting us, calling us sparta prata and stuff like jalan kayu... then we came up with this cheer which countered their insults... i believe nj is super into cheering... how cld i even have thought they were bookworms? haha it's really fun at nj. i'm glad i didnt chicken out.
now i have my two orientation tees, an nj file, special orientation foolscap (which realli impressed me), a metal water bottle, towel, handbook and the nj badge! haha my fave item, though it's quite a woefully impractical thing with this gold chain thing which is supp to be put into a buttonhole. my blouse doesnt have any. rahh..
the games were not bad except they were discontinued halfway due to rain... i love captain's ball! although the guys were like super aggressive (not to mention their height advantage :|) but i love sam! he's soooo tall he makes a perfect defender. he only let in one goal! so we scored the five points 1st. but it was cpn's ball wth a twist. there was a rugby ball, a bball and waterbombs in play... quite distracting.
right shll blog more another day. gtg slp. i'm sooooo tired i'm a walking zombie. plus not much food today. it was juice in the morning, some lychee ice at noon plus then dinner.. but i'm not hingry much nowadays. only at inconvenient times. ohwells, shall go off now. ciaos
