TIRED.
- Just one of those days where you black out, rather than sleep, and when you come to you don't recall anything. Disoriented.
And trying to solve the MNO problem is a great big headache. Like Kenneth aptly put it, "all the possible technical errors we also kena" - that about sums it up -wry-
First, we couldn't get a DV cam.
After we managed to get a DV cam, the tape we recorded on was corrupted/spoilt/whatever. This caused the two guys no small consternation, indeed.
So Kenneth resorted to his Mediacorp friend, and we got a damn pro looking DVD. Fine.
We couldn't rip the content off the DVD.
Didn't have MMC cards large enough to store in lieu of aforesaid corrupted tape.
My laptop couldn't even VIEW the clips we took with the MMC
Downloaded several years' worth of codecs
Finally managed to view the clips, but couldn't edit em with freakin' windows movie maker.
Made a couple trips down to the Photographic Society, couldn't get it worked out
Yesterday Kenneth Norman and I discovered a new place in NUS - ulu pandan CIT lab (if I recall) which looks like a kampong but houses some pretty high-tech thingamajigs inside. NO GO - we only managed to get black and white looking transcriptions -.-
Now, we have to resort to using a computer not widely available to us... Cross our fingers, cross our hearts, hope it works or we're so screwed, because the presentation is NEXT FRIDAY and all the "do you know so many groups outsourced?" thing is not helping.
Feeling a tad harrassed and not a little exhausted. Pffft.
